Changing file association (default program for opening a file) in windows 8 (Similar in 7 and 10).
Setup a new user in MYOB account right (online):
Open MYOB as an administrator (you may already be an administrator) click setup then user access (see 1 and 2 below)
Click on add user (see 3 below) Enter the users name their email address and their access level (see 4, 5, and 6 below), click on save and invite user (see 7 below)
When the user receives the invitation they need to setup their MYOB online account (username and password etc) and then install the software via the link in the invitation.
MYOB requires that you be an administrator [on your computer] to install the software (yes I know breaking all the rules of good security) the best way to do this is to temporarily add the user to the local administrators group and remove after (will require a user logoff/logon to make the change). Do NOT use the Windows user account control (UAC) popup and enter credentials there.

When you have ADSL (or ADSL2) service that is sharing a line with another telephone product such as a normal telephone, PABX or fax you need an ADSL filter on each and every product connected to that line except the ADSL modem itself.
Just to state that again more clearly, on an ADSL line all devices, phone, faxes etc require a filter EXCEPT the actual ADSL modem.
In order to make this easier where the ADSL modem is sharing a socket there are double adapter products available as shown below:
If you plug in your modem router correctly (as indicated) the ADSL modem router although is physically plugged into the filter it does not go though the internal circuitry and is not "filtered". Below is an example of the physical hookup.
If you don't have a phone or other device (as shown above) sharing the socket with the then you don't need an ADSL filter at all (for this socket).
If you have other hard wired extensions in your house or office each of the other extensions will need an ADSL filter as shown below:
To make an Acronis true image home *full disk* backup from a "boot" or start-up disk follow the steps below... Because the resulting backup file will be quite large I recommend a 1TB or 2TB (depending on the size of the data to be backed up and how many copes you may wish to store) external USB3 backup drive.
USB3 is significantly faster than USB2.
Step 1 insert the pre-prepared Acronis backup "boot" or "start-up" disk CD/DVD or USB into the drive.
(see here for instructions on how to make this if you have acronis already installed)
Start up your PC from that disk (yes I know there is a fair amount of information missing from this step and that can be a complex process that I will have to document this else ware or you can do your own research)
Once the Acronis start up environment is displayed as shown below, plug in your large external hard drive that you are planning to backup to.
Then select Acronis True Image (see 1 below)
Select backup *My Disks* (see 2 below)
Browse and select the entire disk drive that you want to backup (see 3 below), in this instance its easy as there is only one disk drive. You will have to look carefully at the disks to see which need to be backed up, note that your USB backup drive will show here as well and you don't want to include that in the backup. Note also the a windows install normal includes two or more disk "partitions". Again backup the entire disk drive, not just the partitions.
Click next.
Select the location for the backup file this will be your external backup drive (see 5 below). It could also be a network location in a more advanced scenario. Rename the backup in a way that will still make sense in a year from now and click next.
Click proceed and wait for the backup to complete (see 8 below)
For advanced options such as splitting the backup to DVD sized chunks for easy and low cost archival click 7 below (for advanced users).
For a solid sate hard drive (SSD) and USB 3 hard drive and computer the backup may be done in as little as 10 minutes. On older equipment or when there is a significant amount of data the process may take hours or overnight.
Once the backup has completed remove all the CD/DVD & USB drives from the computer and restart. Label the backup and store in a secure location.
Setup an additional mail account in Outlook, option B
Go to "file" to access the outlook "backstage" view, see 1 below
Click on account seittings and then account settings again (see 2 and 3 below)
Under account settings click "new" to add *additional* email account (see 4 below)
Enter new account settings as usual (see 5 below)
Finalise account settings (see 6 below)
As is common you may be required to enter the account details up to three times, don't forget to check the save settings button
Once completed you will have unlimited access to all the other accounts folders. Additionally you will be able to send "as" the other account.
